D+M METAL PRODUCTS CONTINUES INVESTMENT IN LASER TECHNOLOGY
A critical part of D+M Metal Products long term strategy is to continue to upgrade and replace their equipment to provide additional capacity, reliability and increased value for their customers. As part of that commitment D+M has recently purchased a new Amada Gemini laser. This laser investment replaces the first laser that was purchased in 1992. It is an updated version of their other Amada laser that was purchased in 2002. The new laser has 1” carbon steel capacity and has a 5’ x 10’ table. This machine will allow D+M to produce about 50% more product than the laser it replaced.
